📌 Short Information
National Education Society for Tribal Students (NESTS) conducted the EMRS Staff Selection Examination (ESSE)-2025 for recruitment to 7,267 Teaching and Non-Teaching posts including Principal, PGT, TGT, Female Staff Nurse, Hostel Warden, Accountant, Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA) and Lab Attendant.
The ESSE 2025 Tier-I examination was held on 13, 14 and 21 December 2025. NESTS declared the Tier-I result and cutoff marks for candidates shortlisted for Tier-II on 31 January 2026.
The Tier-II examination was conducted in March 2026. NESTS has now started releasing the Tier-II results post-wise. The Tier-II result for Principal was released on 03 September 2026, while the JSA Tier-II result was released on 05 September 2026. Candidates should note that Tier-II results for all posts have not been declared together and should check the latest post-wise result updates on the official NESTS website.

🎓Eligibility
| Post Name | Eligibility Criteria |

| Principal | • Candidate must hold a Master’s Degree in any subject along with a B.Ed qualification and should also possess a minimum of 12 years of teaching experience. |
| TGT | • Candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree in the relevant subject with at least 50% marks, along with a B.Ed qualification. In addition, the candidate should have passed the STET or CTET Paper II examination. |
| PGT | • Candidate must possess a Master’s Degree in the relevant subject with at least 50% marks along with a B.Ed. degree. However, for those who have completed an integrated 4-year degree course, a separate B.Ed qualification is not required. For subject-wise vacancy details, candidates should refer to the official notification. |
| Staff Nurse (Female) | • Candidate must have completed B.Sc. Nursing or Post Basic Nursing and be registered with the State Nursing Council. In addition, a minimum of 2.5 years of relevant work experience is required. |
| Hostel Warden | • Candidate must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in any stream from a recognized university in India. |
| Accountant | • Candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce (B.Com) from any recognized university in India. |
| Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA) | • Candidate must have passed the 10+2 Intermediate Examination and should possess a typing speed of 35 words per minute in English or 30 words per minute in Hindi. |
| Lab Attendant | • Candidate must have passed Class 10 with a certificate/diploma in laboratory technique or must have passed 10+2 Intermediate with Science stream. |

Principal
Candidates shortlisted through Tier-II are called for Interview. Final result for Principal is prepared by considering Tier-II and Interview performance in the ratio of 80% and 20% respectively.
Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA)
Candidates are shortlisted for the Skill Test / Typing Test on the basis of Tier-II performance. The skill test is qualifying in nature, while final merit is based on Tier-II performance among candidates who qualify the skill test.
Other Posts
For posts other than Principal and JSA, the ESSE-2025 result is based on performance in the Tier-II examination, subject to verification of eligibility, documents and other prescribed recruitment conditions.
