Bihar BSEB Secondary Teacher Eligibility Test STET 2026 Apply Online

Paper-I – Secondary Teacher (Classes 9–10)

Candidates should generally possess a Bachelor's Degree in the relevant subject with at least 50% marks along with B.Ed. or another prescribed equivalent teacher-training qualification.

Paper-II – Higher Secondary Teacher (Classes 11–12)

Candidates should generally possess a Postgraduate Degree in the relevant subject with the prescribed marks along with B.Ed. or another applicable qualification according to the subject.

There are separate provisions for certain subjects, including Computer Science. Candidates belonging to eligible reserved categories are entitled to relaxation in qualifying marks according to the notified rules. Candidates should check the official notification for the exact subject-wise qualification before applying.

Bihar STET 2026 is a teacher eligibility examination conducted by the Bihar School Examination Board. It is not a direct teacher recruitment examination, therefore no fixed number of vacancies is notified through the STET examination.

• Bihar STET 2026 Online Form can be submitted from 17 August 2026 to 31 August 2026.

• Complete the new candidate registration using a valid mobile number, email address and other required details.
• Verify the mobile number through OTP and use the generated login credentials to access the application form.
• Fill in personal, educational and subject-related details carefully and select Paper-I, Paper-II or both papers according to your eligibility.
• Upload the required photograph, signature, certificates and other documents in the prescribed format.
• Pay the applicable Bihar STET 2026 examination fee through the available online payment mode.
• Check all entered information carefully before final submission of the application form.
• After submission, download and print the confirmation page for future reference.
