Candidates should have passed Class 10th (SSC/Matriculation) from a recognized board of the relevant State or Union Territory falling under the jurisdiction of the recruiting office to which they are applying. Applicants must be non-graduates as of 01 January 2026; candidates holding a graduate degree or any higher qualification are not eligible.

For Ex-Servicemen, passing Class 10th is mandatory along with a minimum of 15 years of service in the Defence Forces, provided they have not obtained a graduation degree outside the Armed Forces.

Additionally, candidates must have working knowledge of the local language of the concerned State/UT, including the ability to read, write, speak, and understand it.

• Date of Birth Criteria: Candidates must be born not earlier than 02 January 2001 and not later than 01 January 2008 (both dates inclusive).
